Sharing Days
Below you will find a schedule of what day your child shares during morning meeting. As discussed at open house, please make sure that your child does not bring in toys, stuffed animals, electronics, etc. for their sharing day unless they are directed to do so in a letter in their daily folder or in the class newsletter. They can, however, bring in a photo of something they would like to discuss during sharing (pictures from a family vacation, relatives, etc.) Make sure that your child knows what his/her sharing day is and that they are prepared to discuss something that day during morning meeting. Possible topics include: what they did over the weekend/ what they are going to next weekend, sport practices/ games, upcoming events such as relatives visiting or birthdays, what they did the previous afternoon/ evening, what they are looking forward to in school this week, and so on. If your child misses their sharing day due to absence from school, holidays, and/ or teacher workdays they will be able to share on the following school day. Please let me know if you have any questions. We look forward to what your child will share!

Scholastic Book Club
Scholastic Book Club is a great resource for students, parents, and teachers! The best way to get better at reading is to... read of course! By exposing your child to literacy in various forms, you are helping them practice important skills and develop a love of reading! Every order placed online for a child in our class earns "Bonus Points" for my teacher account. Below is a link to Scholastic books. When you order online use our class code: M34CP. This allows me to expand our class library and resources for FREE! Please keep this in mind when you're thinking about visiting the local Barnes and Noble!
